History of Jemsox
Hello, my name is Ben Pain and I am the proud owner of Jemsox Ltd.
Jemsox Ltd was founded in 1970 by my grandfather Frank Pain who was one of pioneers in producing sock and tights from the heart of Leicestershire, the British sock manufacturing capital of the UK. From 2008 UK production ceased and we began importing where a worldwide network of manufacturing partnerships have been formed with the capability of designing and manufacturing all types of socks and tights.
In addition to working with the most technically advanced ethically sound factories, I have been passionate in working with sustainable yarns such as carbon zero lyocell, organic cotton and upcycled yarns which are prominent throughout the socks we sell.
